을 후원하고 지지하여 주시는 모든 분들께 깊은 감사와 함께 새해 인사를 전합니다.
2016년에는 I-DREAM 이 준비하여 온 아프리카 챠드 지원사업이 본격적으로 시작되었습니다. 또한EKC 2016의 과학교실로 준비된 청소년 적정기술 캠프를 준비하고 성공적으로 개최함으로써, 유럽의 한인사회에 동반성장의
중요성을 알리는 소중한 시간을 가졌습니다.
·
2014년에 시작한 아프리카 챠드에 책보내기 운동을 2016년에도 지속하였습니다.
추가로 영어책을 함께 수집하고 있기에, 영어권 지역에도 청소년 도서들을 보낼 수
있는 계기를 만들고 있습니다.

2016년 1월 I-DREAM 소속 건축사들을 포함하는 아프리카 지원팀이 아프리카 챠드, 은자메나 시에 건설하고자 하는 교육센터의 교육동과 기숙사동 건물 설계지원을 위한 현장방문을
실시하였습니다. 협회의 건축사들은 한해동안 건물설계 지원을 진행하였고, 2016년 11월 두번째 방문을 하여 설계도면을 완성하였습니다. 본 교육센터는 2017년 중반에 완공될 것으로 예상되며, 완공이 된 이후에는 이를 거점으로 하여 동반성장 및 적정기술 교육프로그램들을 진행할 계획입니다.

2016년 2월, 프랑스 빠리에서
첫번째 I-DREAM Day 행사를
갖었습니다. 이 행사는 유럽의 각 지역별로 대학과정 이상의 청년들이
함께 모여 세미나를 개최하고 동반성장과 적정기술의 아이디어를 나누며, 친목을 다지는 교류모임입니다.

2016년 7월에 독일 베를린에서 개최된 EKC 2016 컨퍼런스에서 I-DREAM 은 EKC 와 공동으로 한인청소년 적정기술 캠프를 개최하였습니다. 본 캠프를 위하여 아프리카 현장활동가 3분과 캠프를 위하여 선발된 대학생 튜터들이 6개월간
준비를 하였으며, 2박 3일간의 행사는 매우 성공적으로 진행되었다는 평가를 받고 있습니다.

청소년 적정기술 캠프와 병행하여 I-DREAM 은 EKC 행사에서 동반성장 전문세션을 운영하고 있습니다. 2016년에는 3개의 전문세션을 기획하여, (1) 동반성장과 적정기술, (2) 아프리카의 주거환경개선 그리고 (3) 아프리카의 과학교육에 관한 발표와 토론을 진행하였습니다.

2016년 연례정기총회가 EKC
2016 행사를 마친 뒤 독일 베를린에서 개최되었습니다. 이번 총회에서 새로이 4인의 이사를 선출하였으며, 특별 안건으로 후원회원제도의 도입과 아프리카 챠드에 I-DREAM 협회의 현지법인 설립을 의결하였습니다.
협회의 취지에
따라, I-DREAM은 동반성장에 관한 토론의 장을 열고, 많은 분들의 참여를 유도하고자 합니다.
협력 관계에 있는 공동체의 필요에 따라, 회원들과 협력 단체들의 지식과 경험,
그리고 에너지를 결집하여 도움이 될 수 있는 방법을 찾고 있습니다.이러한 저희 활동을
가능하게 하는 것은 회원들의 노력과 함께 저희들을 지원해주시는 모든 분들의 관심과 후원입니다.
I-DREAM은 2017년에 다음과 같은 사업을 중점적으로 추진하고자 준비 중에 있습니다.
·
아프리카 지원사업은 챠드의 건축 환경 개선 및 생태마을 구축에
주력하면서, 챠드 뿐 아니라 여러 아프리카 국가들로 사업대상 지역의 확대도
모색할 계획입니다.
·
2016년에 시작한 I-DREAM
DAY 행사를 유럽 국가별/지역별로 확대할 예정입니다.
·
2016년에 이어 2017년 7월에 개최되는 EKC 2017 에서 동반성장 세션과 함께 제 2회 청소년 적정기술 캠프를 주관하고 진행할 계획입니다.
2017년 새해를 맞이하면서, I-DREAM과 모든 회원들은 저희 협회를 후원하고 지지하여 주시는
모든 분들과 가족들이 늘 건강하고 행복하시길 기원합니다.
그리고 저희들의 작은 노력이 전세계 동반성장을 이끌어내어 좀 더 많은 사람들이 삶의 질을 높이고 모두가 행복할 수 있는
따뜻한 사회를 만들어 살아가는데 일조할 수 있기를 기대합니다.

supporters of I-DREAM, members of I-DREAM,
We wish all the warm-hearted supporters
and their family members a wonderful new year.
The
year 2016 was marked for I-DREAM as a challenging working time, in particular
with our first Chad support project by the African Project Team and with the
preparation and successful organisation of the EKC 2016 Appropriate Technology Youth
Camp
·
Started from 2014, I-DREAM has continued the Book Donation
Campaign for Chad in 2016.
·
Jan. 2016, African Project Team, mainly composed with member
architects, have visited Chad to prepare the sketch and drawings of the
Education Centre construction. I-DREAM has contributed to establish the
construction drawings of the Education Building and the Residence Building,
both to be built in N'Djamena during 2017. Once completed, this Education
Centre will be used to develop and perform I-DREAM's Inclusive Development and
Appropriate Technology training for the local partners and individuals in need.Feb.
2016, first I-DREAM Day event has been held in Paris. This event is dedicated
for university or higher degree young students and researchers to organise a
seminar and debate/discussions on the Inclusive Development and Appropriate
Technology applications.

July 2016, as part of the EKC 2016 and in co-organisation
with EKC committee, we have successfully organised Appropriate Technology Camp
(AT Camp) for Korean Youth. For this camp, 3 experts from Chad and volunteering
university tutors had to prepare for 6 months. The outcome has been evaluated
as a great success by all participants and their families.

In parallel to the AT Camp, we've organised 3 Inclusive
Development expertise sessions; (1) Inclusive Development and Appropriate
Technology, (2) African Housing Improvement and (3) Science Education in
Africa.
·
I-DREAM Annual General Assembly has been held just after
this EKC 2016 in Berlin, Germany. In this assembly, all members have approved
to introduce and promote Donation Members and to establish local chapter of
I-DREAM association in Chad.
As
per the objective of the association, I-DREAM will continue holding the forum
of discussions, seminars and conferences, where many could participate and
discuss how to improve the world inequalities and eradicate the poverties in
the developing countries.
All
these activities could only be possible with the efforts and interest of all
members and of all supporters.
In
2017, I-DREAM plans to perform the following priority tasks;

I-DREAM will continue to work on the African Eco-village and
Housing Improvement project
·
I-DREAM DAY events will be organised in Europe, hopefully in
many places
·
we will organise 2nd camp on Appropriate Technology for
Korean youth during the EKC 2017, in July at Stockholm, Sweden.
By
opening a new year’s chapter, I-DREAM and all its members wish you all a
wonderful holidays in family and the best wishes for the new year 2017.
Thank
you very much for your kind support and help to I-DREAM in 2016 and hope that
we can continue to count on your warm heart in 2017 as well.
